The official website for Solano County 2021 Redistricting information.

What is redistricting?

Every ten years the U.S. Census Bureau releases population data that is used to determine if federal, state, local and special districts need to adjust their boundary lines to ensure equal representation by each elected official in each agency.  This process, called redistricting, is important in ensuring that each Board of Supervisors member represents about the same number of constituents. The U.S. Census data is usually released in late March of the year following the decennial U.S. Census Count however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic its release is expected to be delayed until late September. For Solano County, the redistricting process including approval of final district maps must be completed by December 15, 2021.
